Although we don't know too much about the official route of Tour de France 2025 yet, but according to some rumours and speculations circulating, we can get some vague ideas about which iconic ascents might be part of the program of the next edition.

ToggleMONT VENTOUX
After a few years of absence (it seemed a bit longer time than it happened actually), Mont Ventoux is mkst likely back in the program of Tour de France. Last time the race visited the famous windy ascent was in 2021, and it was a big day for Wout van Aert .
According to the latest rumours Mont Ventoux will appear in the 16th stage (22 July 2025), right after the second rest day.
ALPE D’HUEZ
Only two days after Mont Ventoux, the 18th stage (24 July 2025) will most likely end on the top of Alpe d'Huez.
